9 Best ERP Software of 2026

By the KeenVerdict research desk · Updated November 5, 2026 · Next review December 20, 2026 · 9 products scored

Our pickMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralGrowing companies that already run on Microsoft 365 and want a published per-user price.8.6

Our verdict

Business Central is the safest first ERP for most growing companies: it covers finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse and projects for $80 per user, and cheap Team Members licences keep wider rollouts affordable. Odoo gives the most apps for the money and lets you start free with one app. Acumatica suits companies that want unlimited users, ERPNext is the lowest-cost full system if you can handle setup, and NetSuite is the pick for multi-entity companies heading for audits or an IPO. Small manufacturers should start with MRPeasy.

The short answer

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is the best ERP software for growing companies leaving spreadsheets and entry-level accounting in 2026, at $80 per user per month paid yearly. Odoo suits small and midsize teams that want every business app in one per-user subscription, and ERPNext is the cheapest full option: free to self-host or $5 per month for a hosted site on Frappe Cloud.

This list is for owners, finance leads and operations managers at growing companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and entry-level accounting and want one system for finance, inventory and operations. It covers mainstream cloud ERPs, two open-source options and focused tools for manufacturers and service firms. We compared documented features and published prices; we did not run hands-on tests. Scores weigh features at 40 percent, ease of use at 30 and value at 30. Several vendors sell only by quote, so where a USD price was not published we mark the price as pending rather than guess.

    Price

Essentials $80 per user per month, paid yearly; Premium $110; Team Members $8

Quoted from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central pricing page on November 5, 2026: Dynamics 365 Business Central Essentials $80.00 user/month, paid yearly

Business Central is the most practical step up for a company that has outgrown entry-level accounting and still wants to know the price before a sales call. Microsoft lists Essentials at $80 per user per month, paid yearly, and that plan already covers finance, sales and marketing, purchasing and payables, inventory, supply chain planning, project management and warehouse management. Premium, at $110, adds service order management and manufacturing. Light users who only read data, approve workflows or update select records can use the $8 Team Members licence, which keeps costs down as headcount grows. The system works with Outlook, Excel and Teams, supports multiple companies and currencies, and connects to Shopify for ecommerce orders. The drawbacks are practical rather than functional: most buyers still pay a partner for implementation, and Microsoft's new AI agents run on Copilot Credits that are billed on top of the licence.

    What works

    • +Public per-user prices, rare among mid-market ERP vendors
    • +Team Members licence at $8 covers staff who only approve or view
    • +Copilot is included in the Essentials plan

    What does not

    • −Manufacturing and service management need Premium at $110 per user
    • −Sales Order and Payables agents need Copilot Credits sold separately
    • −Most companies buy through a Microsoft partner for setup

Odoo is the best value route to a full ERP for a company that wants accounting, stock, sales and operations in one place without a six-figure project. Its Standard and Custom plans include every app for a single per-user fee, from accounting and inventory to CRM, point of sale, HR, project and manufacturing. Odoo Online hosting, daily backups on two continents, upgrades and email support are part of the subscription. The free One App plan lets a team start with a single app, such as invoicing, for unlimited users and add the rest later. The limits show when you need to customize: Odoo Studio, multi-company and the external API are on the Custom plan, and custom code requires Odoo.sh hosting, which is billed separately. Odoo's US price did not display in USD from our location, so check the pricing page in your region, and note that the advertised discount lasts 12 months.

    What works

    • +All apps included for a single per-user fee on paid plans
    • +Permanent free plan for one app with unlimited users
    • +Upgrades included at no extra fee

    What does not

    • −Studio customization, multi-company and API access need the Custom plan
    • −Custom code needs Odoo.sh hosting at extra cost
    • −The advertised discount applies for 12 months only

US price check pending. See the Acumatica pricing page.

Acumatica is built for the moment a growing company wants everyone in the ERP, from warehouse staff to project managers, without a licence for each person. The vendor describes its cloud platform as having no hidden costs and unlimited users, which changes the math compared with per-seat systems once headcount passes a few dozen. Modules cover financial management, multi-entity and intercompany accounting, project accounting, inventory, order and warehouse management, CRM, payroll and point of sale, and industry editions add depth for construction, distribution, manufacturing and professional services. Low-code tools let business staff add fields, set up workflows and build reports without a developer. The trade-off is transparency: Acumatica publishes no price list, so you get a quote through a reseller partner, and implementation adds to the first-year cost. It is a strong choice for companies that will grow into it, less so for a ten-person team.

    What works

    • +Unlimited users, so access is not rationed by licence
    • +Industry editions for distribution, manufacturing and construction
    • +Built-in CRM, project accounting and payroll modules

    What does not

    • −No public price; quotes come through partners
    • −More than a small company needs on day one
    • −Implementation usually requires a partner

    ERPNext

Fully open-source ERP from Frappe covering accounting, procurement, sales, stock, manufacturing, projects, POS, HR and payroll.

    Price

Free to self-host; Frappe Cloud hosting from $5 per month for a single site, not per user

Quoted from the ERPNext pricing page on November 5, 2026: Start small and run a single site with multiple apps on shared servers $5 onwards /mo

ERPNext is the lowest-cost way to run a real ERP, and it is not a cut-down product. Frappe lists multi-subsidiary and multi-currency accounting, fixed assets, procure-to-pay with approvals, order-to-cash, CRM, stock with serial and batch tracking, multi-level bills of materials, work orders, subcontracting, quality inspections, projects, POS, HR and payroll. The software is GPL-3.0 licensed, so you can install it on your own server for free, and Frappe says no features sit behind paywalls. If you do not want to run servers, Frappe Cloud hosts a single site from $5 per month and dedicated servers from $20, priced per site rather than per user, which is unusual in this category. The cost moves to people: you configure it yourself, use a starter pack or hire one of more than 200 partners. Companies without anyone comfortable with setup work should expect a slower start than with Odoo or Business Central.

    What works

    • +GPL-3.0 open source, free to self-host
    • +Hosting priced per site, not per user
    • +No features held back for paid tiers

    What does not

    • −Setup and configuration take more effort than packaged SaaS
    • −Self-hosting needs an in-house technical team
    • −Complex rollouts usually need a Frappe partner

Starter $49 per user per month; Professional $69; Enterprise $99; Unlimited $149 (minimum 2 users); annual billing gives 1 month free

Quoted from the MRPeasy pricing page on November 5, 2026: Starter $49 /user/month From the 11th user $79 per 10 users

MRPeasy fits a small manufacturer that runs production off spreadsheets and keeps the books in QuickBooks or Xero. Every plan includes production planning and reporting, BOM management, drag-and-drop rescheduling, lot traceability, supply chain and warehouse management, workforce planning, CRM and standard accounting, plus integrations with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Shopify, WooCommerce and Power BI. Starter costs $49 per user per month and, from the 11th user, each additional block of 10 users costs $79, which suits shop floors with many operators. Professional at $69 adds serial numbers, quality control, subcontracting and a product configurator; Enterprise at $99 adds barcodes, a master production schedule, multiple production sites and RMA. There are no contracts or module fees, and the trial runs 15 days with an option to extend by another 15. It is not a general-purpose ERP for service or multi-entity businesses.

    What works

    • +Published prices with no contracts or module fees
    • +Users from the 11th cost $79 per 10, so large shop floors stay cheap
    • +Free trial with no credit card required

    What does not

    • −Focused on manufacturing; less suited to service companies
    • −Serial numbers and quality control need Professional

NetSuite is the ERP that fast-growing companies often move to when finance needs consolidation, audit readiness and multiple subsidiaries. The suite covers accounting, AP and AR, tax, financial close, order management, procurement, inventory across locations, supply chain and warehouse management, and NetSuite OneWorld adds multiple currencies, tax rules and real-time consolidation across subsidiaries. Planning, budgeting and account reconciliation are available through NetSuite's performance management tools, and new modules can be turned on later without a migration. That breadth is why it ranks below cheaper options on value: Oracle sells NetSuite as an annual licence built from the core platform, optional modules and the number of users, with a one-time implementation fee on top, and it publishes no prices. Ease of use is reasonable for finance teams but the system has a lot of surface area. Pick it when growth plans justify the cost, not to replace a simple bookkeeping setup.

    What works

    • +Deepest multi-subsidiary and consolidation tools on this list
    • +Modules can be switched on as the company grows
    • +AI functionality embedded across the suite

    What does not

    • −Annual licence plus a one-time implementation fee
    • −No public price list

    Striven

All-in-one business management system for small and midsize companies, combining accounting, CRM, projects, HR and inventory.

    Price

Standard $35 per user per month; Enterprise $70; add $25 per user under 5 users

Quoted from the Striven pricing page on November 5, 2026: Compare Standard and Enterprise Plans Standard $35 / User

Striven is a good fit for service businesses and small distributors that want to replace QuickBooks plus a CRM and a project tool with one system. It combines accounting, CRM and sales, project management, HR, inventory and workflows, and adds customer, vendor and career portals. Pricing is simple and public: Standard is $35 per user per month and Enterprise is $70, with plan upgrades raising the number of customers, vendors and candidates you can handle. Companies with fewer than five users pay an extra $25 per user, so very small teams pay closer to $60. Portals are free up to 100 contacts, then $99 or $499 per month. Free support covers chat, tickets and how-to questions, and implementation guides and webinars are included. It does not match NetSuite or Acumatica on supply chain or multi-entity depth, so manufacturers should look at MRPeasy or ERPNext instead.

    What works

    • +Low published monthly price per user
    • +Accounting and operations in one product
    • +Free support by chat and ticket

    What does not

    • −Teams under 5 users pay $25 more per user
    • −Lighter manufacturing and supply chain depth than larger ERPs
    • −Portals above 100 contacts cost $99 or $499 per month

SAP Business One is SAP's product for small and midsize companies, and it is a sensible pick for a subsidiary whose parent runs SAP or a distributor that wants an established ERP with on-premise as an option. It connects accounting and financials, purchasing, inventory, sales and customer relationships, with built-in analytics and an integration to SAP AI Core. SAP says more than 85,000 customers use it, mostly in wholesale distribution, light manufacturing, retail and professional services, and that there is no minimum company size. Deployment can be cloud or on-premise, which few rivals here still offer. The drawbacks are price transparency and usability: SAP sells Business One by quote through partners, and the interface feels older than Odoo, Business Central or Acumatica. For a company with no SAP connection, the per-user cloud tools above are easier to evaluate and to start.

    What works

    • +Choice of cloud or on-premise deployment
    • +Fits subsidiaries of groups that run SAP
    • +Large customer base in distribution and light manufacturing

    What does not

    • −Prices only by quote
    • −Sold and implemented through partners
    • −Interface is less approachable than newer cloud ERPs

    Price

Growth from $199 per user per month billed annually, minimum 5 users; Mid Market from $249; one-time implementation fee required

Quoted from the Deskera ERP pricing page on November 5, 2026: starts at $ 199 per month per user (billed annually, for minimum 5 users)

Deskera combines an ERP and an MRP product for manufacturers and distributors that want finance, inventory and production from one vendor. The ERP covers accounting with bank reconciliation and multiple currencies, budgeting and forecasting, multi-entity consolidation, order management with pick, pack and ship, procurement with RFQs and approvals, inventory with barcodes and lot, batch and serial tracking, multiple warehouses down to bin level, project accounting, CRM and HR. Unlike most mid-market vendors it publishes a starting price, but it is high for this list: Growth starts at $199 per user per month, billed annually, for a minimum of five users, and Mid Market starts at $249. A one-time implementation and setup fee is required on top. Revenue recognition and multi-book accounting are on the Enterprise tier, which is quote-only. The feature list is broad, but at this price Business Central and Odoo offer more for less.

    What works

    • +Published starting prices for Growth and Mid Market
    • +ERP and MRP products from one vendor
    • +Free mobile app

    What does not

    • −Minimum of 5 users at $199 each, billed annually
    • −Required one-time implementation fee not included in the price

Before you choose

List what the spreadsheets do today

Before you look at demos, write down every spreadsheet and side tool you want to retire: stock counts, purchase orders, job costing, commissions, consolidations. Match that list to modules. A distributor needs inventory and warehouse tools, a manufacturer needs BOMs and production planning, and a service firm needs projects and time billing.

Count users the way each vendor does

Pricing models differ more than headline prices. Business Central charges per user but offers an $8 Team Members licence for light users, Acumatica is sold with unlimited users, ERPNext hosting on Frappe Cloud is priced per site, and Deskera requires a minimum of five users. Model your real headcount, including warehouse and approval-only staff.

Budget for implementation, not just the licence

NetSuite charges a one-time implementation fee and Deskera requires one on top of its listed price. Business Central, Acumatica, SAP Business One and ERPNext are usually rolled out with a partner. Ask for a fixed-scope quote covering data migration, configuration and training.

Check how it connects to what you keep

Most companies keep some tools after an ERP project. Business Central works inside Outlook, Excel and Teams and connects to Shopify, MRPeasy syncs with QuickBooks Online and Xero, and Odoo bundles ecommerce and point of sale apps. Confirm the integrations you need are on your plan.

Plan for more entities and currencies

If you expect to open a second company or sell abroad, check multi-entity support now. NetSuite OneWorld, Acumatica's intercompany accounting, Business Central's multi-company support and ERPNext's multi-subsidiary accounting all handle this; on Odoo, multi-company is part of the Custom plan.

Questions readers ask

What is the best ERP software for a growing company?
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is our top pick, at $80 per user per month paid yearly for Essentials, with finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse and project management included. Odoo is the best value alternative because every app comes with one per-user subscription.
When should a company move from QuickBooks or spreadsheets to an ERP?
Common signs are inventory tracked outside the accounting system, more than one legal entity, manual consolidations and staff re-keying orders between tools. If your month-end close depends on spreadsheets that only one person understands, an ERP that ties stock and orders to the ledger is usually worth evaluating.
How much does ERP software cost?
Published prices range from $5 per month for an ERPNext site on Frappe Cloud to $35 per user for Striven, $49 for MRPeasy, $80 for Business Central and $199 for Deskera Growth. NetSuite, Acumatica and SAP Business One sell by quote, and NetSuite adds a one-time implementation fee to its annual licence.
Is there free ERP software?
ERPNext is open source under GPL-3.0 and free to self-host, and Odoo has a permanent free plan for one app with unlimited users. Both charge for hosting or for more apps, and setup still takes time or a partner.
NetSuite or Business Central: which should I choose?
Choose Business Central if you use Microsoft 365 and want a published per-user price, starting at $80. Choose NetSuite if you run several subsidiaries in different countries and want OneWorld consolidation, and expect an annual licence plus an implementation fee.
