How we judge

Every verdict on KeenVerdict uses the same method, so a score in one list means the same thing as a score in another.

The three scores

  • Features (40%). How much of the job the product covers on its main paid plan, based on the vendor’s documentation and feature pages.
  • Ease of use (30%). How quickly a new user can get value: setup steps, interface clarity in the vendor’s own guides and demos, and the quality of help resources.
  • Value (30%). What you get for the published price, including free plans, entry tiers, per-user costs and the jump between tiers.

Each score runs from 0 to 10 with one decimal. The overall score is the weighted average, and lists are ranked by it. Ties are broken alphabetically.

What we base scores on

We compared documented features and published prices. We read vendor pricing pages, plan comparison tables, help center articles and product documentation. We do not claim hands-on testing unless a page says it took place.

Prices

Prices are quoted word for word from each vendor's pricing page, in US dollars, with the date we checked them. When a page did not show US pricing to us, we say the US check is pending instead of guessing. Prices change often, so always confirm on the vendor page before you buy.

Statistics

Every figure names the organization that produced the data and links to the page where it appears. We copy the exact sentence that contains the number, and an automated checker re-fetches every source and confirms that the quote is still there. Figures that fail the check are fixed or removed before publication. We avoid aggregator sites that repeat other people's numbers.

Updates

Each page shows the date it was last updated. We re-check prices and sources on a regular cycle and when a reader reports a change. See our editorial policy for corrections.
