Every plan includes issues, projects, cycles, initiatives, triage, customer requests, the API and webhooks. The free plan allows unlimited members but only two teams and 250 issues, so active teams will hit the cap quickly. Basic at $10 per user per month billed yearly removes the issue limit, allows five teams and adds admin roles. Business at $16 adds unlimited teams, private teams and guests, Linear Insights, Triage Intelligence and Zendesk and Intercom integrations. Linear is not a general project tool. Marketing or operations teams will find it narrow, and companies that need heavy customization or complex permission schemes are better served by Jira. For a product and engineering team that wants to move quickly, it is the best experience on this list.
