LastPass review

LastPass still does the basics well: unlimited password storage, reliable autosave and autofill, dark web monitoring and simple sharing. Premium adds access on both computers and phones, and Families adds six Premium accounts. A newer Plus plan bundles LastPass VPN, which runs on Windows only for now. Businesses get Teams, Business and Business Max tiers with an admin console, shared folders and security policies. The free plan is the main weakness for individuals, because it is limited to one device type, so you must choose between your computer and your phone. The bigger issue is trust. LastPass disclosed serious security incidents in 2022, and many users moved to alternatives. The company has made changes since, but with Bitwarden offering a better free plan and 1Password offering better apps, LastPass is hard to recommend to new users. Its pricing page loaded prices by script and showed no USD figures for us, so the price is pending.
