1Password review

1Password is the password manager we would hand to someone who never wants to think about it. The apps are consistent across every major platform, autofill is dependable, and the Secret Key means a stolen account password alone is not enough to open your vault. Travel Mode is a rare extra: you can hide vaults before a border crossing and restore them later. Sharing is flexible, including time-limited links to people who do not use 1Password. The downsides are about money and limits. There is no free plan, the headline $2.99 price applies to the first year only, and the regular $3.99 is more than double Bitwarden Premium. File storage tops out at 1 GB per user. If you are price sensitive, Bitwarden covers the essentials for less. If you value polish and the strongest family sharing, 1Password earns its fee.
