Proton Pass review

Proton Pass stands out because it treats your email address as part of your identity. Every plan can create hide-my-email aliases, so each site gets its own forwarding address and a leak does not expose your real inbox. The free plan is unusually generous: unlimited logins, notes and cards on unlimited devices, passkeys and alerts for weak or reused passwords. Pass Plus adds unlimited aliases, an integrated authenticator, secure vault and link sharing, dark web monitoring and emergency access for $2.99 a month on a yearly plan. Pass Family stretches that to six people. It is newer than the market leaders and lacks a few business-grade extras, and the low price depends on paying for a year up front. For people already in the Proton ecosystem, or anyone who wants aliases without a second service, it is the obvious choice.
