HubSpot remains the default choice for a small business buying its first CRM. The free plan is a real product: contact management, deal pipelines, CRM import, a reporting dashboard and the Breeze Assistant AI, for up to two users and 1,000 contacts. Starter costs $15 per seat per month and adds required fields, permission sets, multiple currencies and removal of HubSpot branding. The trouble starts when you need more. Custom reporting, duplicate management and contact scoring sit in Professional at $50 per seat, and custom objects wait in Enterprise at $75 per seat. A ten-person team that jumps from Starter to Professional sees its bill more than triple. That is the trade: HubSpot is the easiest place to start and the most expensive place to grow. Teams that expect heavy automation on a fixed budget should price Zoho CRM before they commit.
