SOS Inventory is the natural add-on for a business that already keeps its books in QuickBooks Online and has outgrown its inventory features. Companion costs $74.95 a month with 2 users and covers sales orders, purchase orders, assemblies, shipments and transaction-level QuickBooks sync, including classes and sales taxes. Purchasing is strong even on the entry plan: SOS can generate purchase orders from stock levels, handle partial receipts, blanket POs and drop shipments. Plus, at $144.95, adds unlimited locations, serial and lot numbers, bin tracking, barcoding, item variants and pick tickets, which is where most small warehouses will land. Pro, at $199.95, adds job costing, work orders, landed costs and a customer portal. Shopify, BigCommerce and PayPal connections are counted as external connections at $25 a month each. We compared documented features and published prices; SOS ranks well for purchasing depth but depends on QuickBooks.
