Ecwid is a good fit when you already have a website and want to add a store without rebuilding it. The store embeds into an existing site, and Ecwid also offers an Instant Site builder with more than 70 templates if you need one. Starter costs $5 per month and covers up to 10 products, which is enough to test demand. Venture adds up to 100 products, selling on Instagram and Facebook, automated tax calculations and custom checkout. Business raises the cap to 2,500 products and adds marketplaces, subscriptions, abandoned cart recovery and a multi-lingual store. Point of sale integration and unlimited products need Unlimited. Plans run month to month, and a migration tool moves products and customers over from another platform. The app market is smaller than Shopify's, and features step up sharply between tiers. For a small catalog on an existing site, Ecwid keeps costs low.
