Webflow gives designers the control of hand-written code through a visual editor. Every element maps to real HTML and CSS, interactions are precise, and the CMS lets you model content such as case studies or job posts with custom fields. Recent additions include Webflow AI, an MCP server and Webflow Cloud for hosting apps. The free Starter plan is fine for learning but limited to 2 static pages on a webflow.io domain. Basic, at $15 a month billed yearly, adds a custom domain and 300 static pages but no CMS, so anything with a blog needs Premium at $25. Team plans, with localization and publishing workflows, start at $2,500 a month. The learning curve is the steepest here, and small business owners editing their own site will be happier with Wix or Squarespace. For designers and agencies, Webflow is the most capable builder we compared.
