Skuad says it can employ full-time staff in 160+ countries. For contractors it offers an Agent of Record plan from $99 and a payments-only tool from $19 per contractor per month. The trade-off is the model: Skuad's FAQ says it uses local partners and entities, while Remote, Atlas and Multiplier stress owned entities, which some buyers prefer for accountability. Currency coverage is also narrower than rivals. For a team hiring a few people on a tight budget, the price gap is large enough to justify a quote.
