Grammarly is the best editor for people who do not want another window. It runs inside Google Docs, Word, Gmail, Outlook, Slack and, by Grammarly's count, more than a million apps and sites. The free plan fixes mistakes, flags tone and includes 100 AI prompts. Pro adds full-sentence rewrites, tone adjustment, brand style controls and 2,000 prompts, for $12 per member per month on annual billing. That price is fair. The $30 monthly rate is not, so commit to a year if you commit at all. Grammarly is weaker as a drafter: it can generate text, but a general assistant does long-form better. The Enterprise tier, now sold through Superhuman Go, adds data loss prevention, confidential mode and granular permissions for regulated teams. For daily business writing, it saves more small edits than any other tool here.
